The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Packers watched Skyler Gill-Howard slide 21 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. If Taylor pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
