The board owed the Commanders one, and it paid up: Isaiah Davis, the No. 155 name on the board, sitting there at the 222nd pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
