The search is over. The Patriots handed the keys to Drake Maye, and the whole operation now runs on his development. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want.

It is not that Jackson is a bad player; it is that the Patriots had louder needs to answer first. That Fiske pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Good work on the whole, with safety the one box left unchecked.
