The rest of the league will want that one back. Chau Smith-Wade tumbling to the Cowboys in Round 6, Pick 29 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

The Powers-Johnson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Cowboys paired the rookies with proven help, Kenny Clark leading the way.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
