If confidence were a draft strategy, the Cowboys would have aced it. Joshua Cephus at the Round 6 slot is 27 spots clear of where he belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with cornerback, quarterback and other spots still on the board.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
