The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Cowboys watched Mike Sainristil slide 41 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. The cost of the Keegan reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
