Draft Grade — Colts
Overall

A respectable, level-headed haul for the Colts: B-. You can draft well and still miss the point. The Colts did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most.
Tight end was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick14
Rnd1
Tyler Warren
In pick 14 they get a moveable chess piece at tight end at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick45
Rnd2
Trey Amos
A straight-up fair deal on Trey Amos at the Round 2 slot, value and slot in agreement. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
