When a board-topper like Akheem Mesidor slides to pick No. 202, you do not overthink it, and the Patriots did not. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

In the end it comes back to David Bailey, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
