Lovett should have been long gone. The Chargers pounced, and earned a A.

Call it larceny. Fabien Lovett sat on the board until No. 253, and the Chargers did not need to be asked twice. Very little went wrong, and the A is earned.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

The Creed Humphrey pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Troy Franklin and all.
