The tape said wait; the Commanders did not. Tyler Baron went at Round 4, Pick 26, a good 29 picks before the board was ready.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Horton. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

If Kaleb Johnson and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
