When a board-topper like Emery Jones Jr. slides to No. 205, you do not overthink it, and the Commanders did not.

If Kuithe pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
