The phones sank the Saints this weekend: D+.

The Saints went off the board in a big way for Javontae Jean-Baptiste, 55 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Rosemy-Jacksaint at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
