The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Commanders spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A to cap it.

Landing Rosemy-Jacksaint that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.

If Anderson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The Commanders paired the rookies with proven help, Jessie Bates III leading the way.

In the end it comes back to Jayden Daniels, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
