The Patriots did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Cobee Bryant fell into the 217th pick. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.
