The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

The kind of weekend a front office frames and hangs on the wall.
