You build a draft on nights like this. R.J. Mickens had no business being available in slot 251, and the Commanders did the only sane thing and turned in the card. It washes out to a C+, no better and no worse.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. If Porter pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.

They bet on numbers rather than a single high pick.

If James Pearce Jr. and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
