The Titans did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the Titans would have aced it. Eric Gentry at Round 6, Pick 24 is 40 spots clear of where he belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Zinter. Spending an early pick on cornerback with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
