The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named wide receiver, a need the 49ers walked right past.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
