Draft Grade — Broncos
Overall

FutureB
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Broncos. Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Broncos never addressed linebacker, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.
They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move. They went 2 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
The skill positions did well by the weekend.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick34
Rnd2
Emeka Egbuka
They did well to land Emeka Egbuka in slot 34, just ahead of his grade. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick51
Rnd2
Trey Amos
By-the-book stuff, Trey Amos at Round 2, Pick 19 squarely in line with his ranking. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick85
Rnd3
Gunnar Helm
Gunnar Helm in No. 85 is fair value, right on his grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
