Draft Grade — Titans
Overall

Ward is the plan now, and the Titans grade out a B-. The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Titans spent their marquee pick on Cam Ward, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick1
Rnd1
Cam Ward
By-the-book stuff, Cam Ward at the 1st pick squarely in line with his ranking. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick35
Rnd2
Josh Conerly Jr.
They paid sticker price for Josh Conerly Jr. in pick No. 35, and that is fine. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
