Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Jets spent slot 63 on Derrick Moore, a name most had 41 spots down the list. They executed a plan and it shows in the A.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Bell. The veteran additions, CeeDee Lamb chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.
