You could see the war room lean forward. Kalel Mullings at slot 139 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. If Colby pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The Schwesinger pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
