The Cowboys turned the phones into found money: B.

The real work happened on the phones. The Cowboys fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Every board in the league had Smith lower, and that gap is the story. That Harris pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Adding Zach Cunningham by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
