Priorities are a choice, and the Cowboys made a strange one, taking Cashius Howell at edge rusher in the 21st overall pick with offensive lineman, quarterback and other spots crying out for the pick instead.

Uiagalelei has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. That Anderson pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
