Chambers should have been long gone. The Steelers pounced, and earned a B-.

The needs board said one thing and the Steelers did another, using pick 51 on Zach Frazier while quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots waited.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Landing Chambers that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Dixon has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. On the needs board they went 5 of 9, with safety the one that mattered most.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
