Higgins should have been long gone. The Steelers pounced, and earned a B-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Jay Higgins at pick No. 229 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front. Their trades came out a wash either way.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
