Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB- TradesB- FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Jets: B-.

The one they had to fix is still broken. The Jets left quarterback untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Gray has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. That Loveland pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick7 Rnd1 Armand Membou
In slot 7 they get a long-term starter on the line. A real need, handled.
Pick42 Rnd2 Colston Loveland
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Colston Loveland at Round 2, Pick 10 is the proof. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick73 Rnd3 Omarr Norman-Lott
Omarr Norman-Lott at No. 73 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick110 Rnd4 Tai Felton
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Tai Felton in the 110th overall pick. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick145 Rnd5 Malachi Moore
Malachi Moore at the Round 5 slot is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the safety. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick162 Rnd5 Jake Briningstool
A reach on Jake Briningstool in the 162nd pick; the board had better options right there. A luxury on a unit that was already in good shape.
Pick186 Rnd6 Joshua Gray
Joshua Gray in pick No. 186 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick207 Rnd6 KeAndre Lambert-Smith
KeAndre Lambert-Smith in pick 207 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
