The Eagles have some explaining to do after a D.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Eagles reached some 361 spots for Trikweze Bridges, and value like that does not grow back. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

However the rest shakes out, Helm at that price is a win they earned. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
