The rest of the league had time to spare on Maliq Carr; the Steelers did not wait, grabbing him 283 spots ahead at the Round 3 slot. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C+.

Stutsman at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

Hit on Josh Simmons and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
