HeySissy DRAFTING FOR THEVikings
Draft Grade — Vikings
Overall
D

FutureB-
A puzzling weekend of work from the Vikings: D. The rest of the league had time to spare on Henry Parrish Jr.; the Vikings did not wait, grabbing him 166 spots ahead at the Round 3 slot.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Safety is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
The back end got a real overhaul.
Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
Pick Analysis
Pick24
Rnd1
Quincy Riley
In pick No. 24 they get a lockdown presence outside, though the board says they badly overpaid.
Pick97
Rnd3
Henry Parrish Jr.
Henry Parrish Jr. at the 97th overall pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick140
Rnd5
Jonas Sanker
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Jonas Sanker well ahead of where he belonged. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick161
Rnd5
Jackson Hawes
Jackson Hawes at Round 5, Pick 22 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. The roster fit checks out.
