Somebody in Round 7, Pick 10 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Seahawks sat still while Jaylin Simpson, the No. 137 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.

Michael Penix Jr. gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
