The board owed the Bills one, and it paid up: Nick Emmanwori, the No. 19 name on the board, sitting there at the 56th pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

The Powell-Ryland pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker.

Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
