Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Hayden Conner at the 247th pick is 24 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The Walker value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
