A masterclass at the trade table lands the Patriots a B+.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Patriots did exactly that with Gino Garcia in slot 217. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

However the rest shakes out, Williams at that price is a win they earned.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
