The Commanders robbed the room for Williams. Final grade: C+.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Commanders shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

It is not that Solomon is a bad player; it is that the Commanders had louder needs to answer first. However the rest shakes out, Williams at that price is a win they earned. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

Every board in the league had Solomon lower, and that gap is the story.

If Olumuyiwa Fashanu and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
