No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Eagles.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Jalen McLeod in the Round 5 slot, a good 54 spots before the room expected him. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

However the rest shakes out, Sampson at that price is a win they earned. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
