A sensible, unshowy class lands the Eagles a B-.

The Tyler Baron pick is the one that will follow the Eagles into the fall. They took him 64 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Dotson. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
