Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Chargers spent pick 181 on Max Brosmer, a name the board had a full 136 spots lower. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Moore at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
