The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named offensive lineman, a need the 49ers walked right past. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They will need Nolen to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
