The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The 49ers watched Arvell Reese slide 22 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. If Tiernan pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
