They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Michael Penix Jr. is the Falcons' quarterback, full stop. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

On value alone, Rakestraw Jr. makes the weekend a net positive. The Lovett reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

It is not that Rakestraw Jr. is a bad player; it is that the Falcons had louder needs to answer first.
