Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall D-
ValueC NeedB- TradesF FutureC+
The Ravens lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

The Ravens torched the value chart for Phillip Webb, taking him 102 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and running back is still a hole.

Pick Analysis
Pick31 Rnd1 Donovan Ezeiruaku
In pick No. 31 they get a premier pass rusher, though the board says they badly overpaid. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick45 Rnd2 Jihaad Campbell
They let Jihaad Campbell come to them and pounced at the Round 2 slot. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick62 Rnd2 Darien Porter
They paid a round early for Darien Porter in the 62nd pick, more than the board wanted. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick66 Rnd3 Donovan Jackson
Donovan Jackson in Round 3, Pick 2 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick129 Rnd4 O'Donnell Fortune
They reached a country mile for O'Donnell Fortune at pick 129, and the board is aghast. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick132 Rnd4 Logan Brown
They jumped the gun on Logan Brown, taking him earlier than his grade liked. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick139 Rnd5 Andres Borregales
The board had cheaper options than Andres Borregales at No. 139, and it noticed. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
Pick142 Rnd5 Dont'e Thornton Jr.
A wild overpay on Dont'e Thornton Jr. in the 142nd overall pick, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick173 Rnd5 Que Robinson
They paid up for Que Robinson at the Round 5 slot when waiting would have done the job. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick176 Rnd5 Oronde Gadsden II
This one needs a full-page explanation: Oronde Gadsden II in the 176th pick, miles early. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick182 Rnd6 CJ West
They paid sticker price for CJ West in slot 182, and that is fine. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick183 Rnd6 Clay Webb
A premium they did not need to pay, Clay Webb a notch or two before his time. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick203 Rnd6 Isaac TeSlaa
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Isaac TeSlaa well ahead of where he belonged. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick210 Rnd6 Hayden Conner
Hayden Conner at pick 210 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick212 Rnd6 Jamon Dumas-Johnson
Jamon Dumas-Johnson at slot 212 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
Pick243 Rnd7 Phillip Webb
They left a pile of value on the table to take Phillip Webb this early at Round 7, Pick 27. The roster fit checks out.
