The Bears spent the pick that matters most on Jayden Daniels, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The Newton pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Johnson has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
