A franchise passer in Daniels headlines a D- weekend for the Bears.

The phones were a trap the Bears kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

So much rides on Jayden Daniels that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. They are betting Zinter proves the room right and everyone else wrong. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

The Solomon pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board. That Washington pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
