Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Bears, and the value they bled adds up to real damage.

Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

The Bears indulged a want in Williams while a need in interior defensive lineman and cornerback stayed open. Every board in the league had Barner lower, and that gap is the story.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
