Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall

FutureB-
The Seahawks checked most of the boxes and earned a B-. There is conviction, and then there is this. The Seahawks took Tate Ratledge a full 22 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.
The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
Pick Analysis
Pick18
Rnd1
Colston Loveland
In the 18th pick they get a matchup weapon at tight end. A real need, handled.
Pick50
Rnd2
Tate Ratledge
They reached a country mile for Tate Ratledge at the 50th overall pick, and the board is aghast. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick52
Rnd2
Josaiah Stewart
A straight-up fair deal on Josaiah Stewart at slot 52, value and slot in agreement. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
