They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Drake Maye is the Patriots' quarterback, full stop.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Smith value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

They are betting Kamara proves the room right and everyone else wrong. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
