Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Dolphins spent the 224th pick on Davin Vann, a name the board had a full 54 spots lower. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain.

It is not that Strong is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first. That Taylor pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
