Draft Grade — Titans

FutureA+
The phones sank the Titans this weekend: C+. If confidence were a draft strategy, the Titans would have aced it. Noah Thomas at pick 182 is 89 spots clear of where he belonged. A mixed bag that lands at C+.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want.
Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Hit on Gennings Dunker and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
Pick Analysis
Pick12
Rnd1
Gennings Dunker
In No. 12 they get a long-term starter on the line, even if it was a touch early. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick66
Rnd3
Isaiah World
By-the-book stuff, Isaiah World at Round 3, Pick 2 squarely in line with his ranking. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick101
Rnd4
Caden Curry
Caden Curry at the Round 4 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick112
Rnd4
Keylan Rutledge
Keylan Rutledge at slot 112 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick140
Rnd5
Ted Hurst
The board had cheaper options than Ted Hurst at pick No. 140, and it noticed. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick142
Rnd5
Tanner Koziol
A market-rate tight end, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Tanner Koziol. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick150
Rnd5
DJ Campbell
They went early on DJ Campbell in the 150th pick, and the value did not follow. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick153
Rnd5
Keyron Crawford
A wild overpay on Keyron Crawford in slot 153, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick182
Rnd6
Noah Thomas
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Noah Thomas well ahead of where he belonged. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
