Draft Grade — 49ers
Overall B
ValueB NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The 49ers let Ramsey fall and pounced. Final grade: B.

There is a lot to like until you notice running back is still a hole. The 49ers never got to the one that mattered most. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The Ramsey value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

The dealing was even money, start to finish.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick27 Rnd1 Christen Miller
In pick No. 27 they get a load in the middle. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick58 Rnd2 Kamari Ramsey
The board fumbled Kamari Ramsey all the way to the 58th overall pick, and they scooped it up. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick92 Rnd3 Julian Neal
A slide stopped in No. 92, with Julian Neal worth more than the price. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick127 Rnd4 Keylan Rutledge
Good price on Keylan Rutledge in the Round 4 slot, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick133 Rnd4 Ar'maj Reed-Adams
A tidy little value on Ar'maj Reed-Adams in pick 133, a step better than break-even. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick138 Rnd4 Tanner Koziol
Tanner Koziol at Round 4, Pick 38 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick176 Rnd5 Eric McAlister
Eric McAlister at the 176th overall pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
